Sweets / Desserts
- Pastel de nata (egg-tart)
- Pudim Abade de Priscos (egg pudding, mainly to be found in Braga/Guimarães)
- "Croissant" (brioche-like croissant, local speciality, super good when asked with butter or ham or cheese, or even better all of them, and then toasted!!)
- Ovos moles de Aveiro (speciality with raw eggs and sugar)
- Pão de ló de Ovar (sponge cake with raw eggs in the middle)
- Molotof (based on the egg-whites)
- Bolo de bolacha (Marie biscuit based, with cream and coffee)
- Nata Brasileira (egg-tart like, a cake that Bastien likes, Ana is extremely against this recommendation!)
Savoury - meals

- Bacalhau (codfish, any recipe is delicious !), Ana's favourites:
- Meat:
- Carne assada (meat in the oven e.g. Lombo assado)
- Francesinha (meat sandwich covered in cheese and sauce, served with fries... we dare you to eat one until the end! ;) We recommend the restaurant "Taberna Belga" in Braga and "Capa negra II" in Porto)
- Arroz (rice)
- Bacalhau (codfish):
- Pataniscas (with egg - fried)
- Bolinhos de bacalhau (with mashed potatoes and fried)
- Bifana (marinated pork sandwich - we recommend the bar "Icarai" in Porto)
- Moelas (marinated gizzards)
- Empadas (savory "cakes": pork, beef, chicken, mushrooms...)
- Bola de carne (brioche bread with chorizo, ham and cheese)
- Tosta mista (ham and cheese toast)
