Beiras / Centro region

In the interior of Portugal, you can find mountains and villages of granite and schist. By the sea, fishing villages and cosmopolitan beaches with water sports set the pace of the day. And everywhere centuries-old heritage proudly displays the history of the region.

Lisboa region

The Lisboa region/area does not need an introduction :)
Everyone know is one of the best city trips of the world (after Porto of course! ;) ).

  • Sintra
  • Lisboa city
  • Óbidos
  • Nazaré

Alentejo region

Gently sloping hills, cork oaks and grain fields characterize the region of Alentejo. Although it occupies one-fifth of Portugal's surface area, only seven per cent of the population lives here. Palaces and churches from Renaissance and Baroque style are part of the region. Estates on solitary hilltops and fortified towns, in the shadow of a castle, are typical of Alentejo.

  • Monsaraz
  • Beja
  • Portalegre
  • Estremoz
  • Elvas
  • Évora
  • Mértola
  • Vila Nova de Milfontes

Algarve region

Algarve is the southernmost of the Portuguese provinces, and its attraction lies in its scenic variation: sandstone cliffs, hidden bays, wide sandy beaches characterize the west and middle of Algarve, and in the east, land and sea seem to merge into islands, canals and peninsulas. Fairy-tale cities such as Tavira and Lagos can boast a picturesque, historical and relaxed atmosphere.

  • Tavira
  • Lagos
  • Albufeira
  • Sagres
